How it works
Found, read and checked before you see it
Searched where governments publish
Each city and region gets its own targeted searches, which favour the government's own websites. When a search finds nothing, City Scout tries again in another language.
Read before it is listed
Every document found is downloaded and read: it has to be a climate plan or a related report, and it has to belong to that city or region. Its type and year are recorded. Documents that fail are left out.
Official sources marked
An Official stamp marks the documents a city or regional government published itself, so you can tell them apart from copies and from reports written by others.
Checked on a schedule that fits
Each city and region is checked again on a schedule that depends on how recently it published, so new plans are found without searching every place every day.

New plans in your inbox, the whole collection a click away
A weekly email
Every Monday, one email for cities and one for regions lists the new plans found that week. When nothing new was found, a short note says so, so you know the tracking is running.
Spreadsheet downloads
From each email, download the new plans or everything found so far as an Excel spreadsheet.
A page to browse
The same email links to a page where you can browse and filter the whole collection.
Together with Report Scout
Organizations that also follow companies receive both: Report Scout's company reports and City Scout's city and regional plans, in the same week. Report Scout for organizations.
